The Visa card was named “World’s Leading Credit Card” at the World Travel Awards for the ninth consecutive year. The awards ceremony follows those important successes in the areas of travel and tourism industry. The award was based on a survey conducted online in involving travel agents and travel agents. Among the criteria used in the assessment were the extent of distribution, convenience and services in general.
Here is what was stated in a press release:
“Visa is very pleased to receive this award on behalf and on behalf of the 20,000 banks that are members,” said Tom Shepard.
“Visa continues to grow in the travel industry, working with traders providing them access to millions of Visa cardholders and providing them a level of acceptance of paper that remains unsurpassed in the world.”
